HO Steam Locomotives: help, please

Hi gang.

Please I'm searching some data: a friend of mine has two HO steam locos, and he doesn't have any information about them:

Indeed he needs instruction sheets that give him informations about how to taking them apart. These locos are:

-BLI Cab Fwd Ac4 #4101, ref 095

-Lionel Challenger #3985, ref 6-58009

You would be wise to contact Broadway Limited Imports and Lionel. Surely their respective tech and customer support sections will offer to supply you with an exploded diagram, or with detailed disassemby instructions. It might mean a wait of about two weeks, but you would have definitive information from the manufacturers.

Also, speaking only for BLI based on my experience, their technicians will probably fix the AC for the cost of shipping, but asking them will cost even less...if you understand me. Lionel may offer to fix the Challenger for a modest fee, too.

Also, Aggrojones is our AC Cab Forward guy, and might be an even faster source of assistance. He probably has an email in his profile if you care to search for it.
