I'm 49 and run HO. It all started with my son when he was young and got a train set for his birthday. When he was 10 he started playing baseball and the layout was left to gather dust. He's almost 21 now and we have made a deal. He keeps all the baseball cards, (theres alot and they're quite valuable) and I get the trains. The layout is small, 4x8 and is my interpitation Of the Virginia and Truckee railroad. I'm originally from Reno and it hits close to home with all its History. There is a railroad museum in Carson City Nevada that has alot of restored engines and cars from the old V+T. Those old Baldwins were a true art form, with all their brass and everything.
