072 Swithes
Posted by Fred Bear on Saturday, January 21, 2006 9:30 AM
If you power 072 switches from transformer power, will this accelerate the train across the switches if the voltage is turned up on the power to this switch? It seems to take a fair amount of voltage to make these switches work completely. Any ideas on this? Thanks, Jake

If you are using the fixed voltage plugs, the answer is no. The whole point of the plug is to provide an isolated power source for throwing the switch, independent of the track power.

By the way, this question would be better asked over on the CTT forum.
