Peter Waterman is also a railway modeler I have seen an article in Railway Modeler on how he used perspex to build UK "O" Scale 7mm to the foot terraced houses for his layout.
Then there is Hornby's "Peter Waterman Collection".

That is good. It's nice to get a glimpse of the British side of this hobby: alive and well, and not needing much help from us colonials...
