1915 south Georgia USA

My great grandfather owned a farm in the area of Georgia shown on the map below in the early 1900's...

I'm thinking about 1910 to 1930 or so. A railroad ran in front of the house, a short distance away and a dirt road ran beside his place. He had a brother that was a conductor on the train and this train would stop at his place to pick up passengers and/or freight. He had a large barn, stable and corral for his mules and horses. After he retired from farming he grew flowers in an area between his house and the railroad track and that's where he would usually be when the trains went by, sometimes not stopping if there was no need but always blowing the whistle at him and he would stand and wave back.
I'm wondering how I could find out what rr company this was and what type locomotives and cars etc they would have had in that time period. I know the type house he lived in and I was thinking it would make a great model on my layout.
Thanks,
Jarrell
P.S. His brother liked to stop off and get a little jar of 'homebrew', if you know what I mean.

You might be interested in the historical RR maps at

http://alabamamaps.ua.edu/historicalmaps/railroads/

Maybe the RR was the Brunswick and Alabama or the Western Alabama RR???

or

or

Anyway they are interesting.

Good luck,
