I saw that Big Boy on eBay a few days ago. I was amazed at the price too![:O] I don't think the OMI Big Boys even retailed for that much when they came out! I've seen some nice Sunset Big Boys go for less than $500.[:D]

Amazing how the most responded to threads are those concerning what an ebay seller wants for an item and what an ebay bidder is bidding.
If you ain't having fun, you're not doing it right and if you are having fun, don't let anyone tell you you're doing it wrong.

Perhaps, but it sure is fun.

And it's cheap, too.

I just saved $5,000 by not buying a Tenshodo Crown Big Boy that's non-functional. The frosting on the cake is, I get to laugh at the person who has s $202.50 bid on a Rivarossi FM A unit that was done for Lionel in Texas and Pacific colors back in the 50's. What makes it even more delicious is that the bid is still under the reserve.

OTOH, that's not nearly as funny as the guy who paid $360 for the same unit painted in SP "Golden State" colors.

Beanie Babies anyone?

Andre
It's really kind of hard to support your local hobby shop when the nearest hobby shop that's worth the name is a 150 mile roundtrip.

Although, people are getting $600 for empty XBOX 360 boxes...

...In the newspaper today, if you're interested. (AP)
