Checked one out at the LHS yesterday and am very impressed. They roll like a champ and the underbody detail is phenomenal. The lighting is alright at best. The plating is AWESOME, although there was some dust and what appeared to be hairs stuck in it. Hopefully that can be smoothed out. The diaphrams looked like they would take a beating. The only thing that really stuck out to me that could be easily fixed is the molded silver trucks and underbody. A quick shot of a duller silver paint could take care of that quite easily. The tinted glazing was definately a nice touch, as was the blinds. Overall I think they are great cars and well worth the money.

Almost forgot; the fluting is excellent!

What a dream. To operate an 11 car consist headed up by a Genesis ABA but not in my lifetime..
