Perhaps it's the locomotive's coupler/truck (insufficient lateral swing) that's causing the problem. <br />Newer three axle locos will run problem free on 18/22" radius until you add cars. <br />What 's your loco and track radius? <br />Lot's of diesels tolerate ir-regular track arrangements but the true test comes when you <br />operate steam. They will find track imperfections that you thought never existed. <br />
