My son is a diehard C&NW fan! He is ten years old,born after the C&NW was taken from us by Uncle Pete.We bought our house back in September after renting it for 4 1/2 years.We're in the process now of framing and insulating the basement walls and will be carpeting the floors soon after that's done.Next year I plan to start buying locomotives for our layout.My son's favorite locomotives are the GE's in the ZZ Top scheme.I'm a Soo Line fan myself.We won't have any particular era on our layout.It will range from 1984 to 1995. We used to spend quite a lot of time down at Beverly yard watching the CNW GP7's,9's and MP15's switch and look for mainline units in the trains.Now we plan to just run our models to watch these in action along with SOO red and white units.
