Need motor
Posted by ondrek on Thursday, November 3, 2005 12:31 PM
I have a HO Class A Climax from Nakamura Seimitsu.....
The open frame motor is dead.
its pretty small too, 10mmx28mm with a shaft extending out another 8mm the dia. of the shaft is 2mm

It fits inside the boiler horizontally. there is room in there for a slightly wider motor, but not much, maybe a 12 or 13mm might fit.

I called NWSL in Seatle and they have a possible replacement. But I thought I should ask on here too if there was another known source for motors.

Thanks

There are a couple other places that offer motors- Branchline and Bowser come to mind. But it sounds like this one might be an odd ball one, hard to replace! I'd say a 10 or 12 mm can motor from NWSL would be your best bet.
