I kept shooting an arrow straight up into the air and watching how the wind carried it off vertical. When I had enough of that I decided I should try something a little smaller. Like a .22 long rifle. Needless to say as soon as I pulled the trigger I realized I was not going to be able to watch an see if the bullet was really carried off by the wind. Judging by the plume of dust it went about 18 inches down wind. Then tere were the blasting caps..... Growing up on a farm was FUN! <br />
