HELP is on the way.
Sit tight and wait for Nigel of Yukon Ok.
Between the Great Lakes and the Pacific he's the BEST steam guy out there.
While waiting for for him to catch up visit the club
he belongs to.

Hi Louis;
I do not know what a "steam system" is.
For less than $100, you can find Athearn, Bachmann Spectrum, and IHC steam locomotive model in HO scale. The detail is somewhat lacking on the IHC models, but the latest ones run well.
What sort of engine are looking for? passenger, freight, switching.
What railroad or railroads are you interested?
What era (range of years)?
For example, my focus is the Norfolk & Western (N&W), 1950 to 1955, and I am interested in freight, passenger and switching locomotives, and have some of each type.
Nigel
Nigel N&W in HO scale, 1950 - 1955 (..and some a bit newer too) Now in San Jose, California

I think you will find steamers in your price range. Good luck.
