I do'nt have this particular bulding but I can say that I've been vary happy with all the Walthers kits I have. I would not hesitate to buy a refinery from them.

i have built one, and i think it is a very very good kit. i picked up some fuel tanks from bachman, and the piping kit. I always try to bet wathers cornerstone kits, thee a little pricey BUT well worth every penny. im starting the steel mill in about a month , NOW THATS A PROJECT.

Yes, by all means the refinery kit is great. We have one built on our traveling H.O. module setup. The builder super detailed it, including "night lights" in certain areas. It is impressive and the spectators at the shows we attend like it. The price is worthy of the kit. This is not a "build-it-overnight" project, so take your time with it. The instructions are good and each step is outlined for you.
Good luck and have fun.

Although most of my buildings are Faller or Vollmer, I do have several of Walthers industrial buildings I am using on my new layout and am very pleased with the results from the tugboat to the Tri-State Power Plant {which I have just completed}. The only comment I have on the Walthers stuff is that sometimes not all the parts are numbered and the instructions at times are not too clear. Overall, I would say you should have no problems and once your model is built you will be quite happy with it. Good luck.

If you ordered from Terminal Hobby Shop, you should get it very soon. By the way, the Walthers building kits have become my favorite. I susoect that when I get to the part of completing the strcutures on my layout probably 75%-80% will be Walthers.
