How do you go about submitting photos for the Trackside photos section in MR? I know they used to put in an address and instructions (early to mid '90s issues). Is it still the same? Would you send them to the adress that you would send a subscription order to?

If you have a magnifying glass, read the fine print at the bottom of page 4 of the November 2005 issue, which explains how to submit items to them.
Basically, it just says to call or write their Editorial Assistant. On page 6, that person is identified as Barb Packenham.
The only contact information given for anyone is Phone 262-796-8776; Fax 262-796-1142; E-mail mrmag@mrmag.com or Web site www.modelrailroader.com

Having sent well over 100 photos over the years I have some jaded advice. Don't get your hopes up. Include a stamped self addressed envelope so they can return them (hopefully). I gave up after taking pictures of a wreck on Conrail while it was occurring. Knowing my return rate of 100%I called immediately asking if they were interested and was told, "Nope we have pictures of that already". So I gave up after that.
