I JUST RECIVED MY NEW APR. MRR. CHECKING THE ADS I SEE TRAINWORLD HAS AN ATHEARN ENGINES BLOWOUT SALE. I REPAINT MY ENGINES SO ROADS DONT,T MATER. I CALLED THE SAME DAY I RECIVED THE MRR TO ORDER A FEW AND TO MY SURPRISE THEY ZIP! LAST MONTHS DID NOT HAVE THIS SALE AND I KNOW THAT THEY ARE MAIL ORDER BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE THE PRODUCT WHY RUN A SALE.JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAS BEEN DISAPOINTED TO.

Their can be a few month window between placing an ad and having a magazine hit the streets. It is possible that sometimes advertisers sell out before the magazine is printed.

I'm on their e-mail for special sales and you should check their site from time to time.
Been ordering from their MR ads;never a problem.

not dispointed,but have been getting lot & lots of email's, from trainworld,saying they are having all kinds of sale's, on "HO & N " stuff, i only run o-guage, sounds like they are trying to move small stuff in "A" hurry for some reason,also said they sale was by internet only...??????????

The Trainworld HO Athearn blowout sale has been going on for some time now. I have placed two orders for these engines, one in December and one in January, with excellent results on both. Trainworld is a reputable dealer if you can get past some of their telephone order-takers who can be pretty irritable sometimes.

I have bought n, ho, g and o scale from Trainworld and except for the the order-takers they are good-to-go.
