Vehicles needed

I am in need of a couple of 50's era tractor/trailors,either dry vans or reefers. Does anyone know of any manufacturers that I can check out? It doesn't matter if they are plastic or metal but I would like to keep the price somewhere around $10.
Thanks for any help-- Bob

Bob,
Here's a list of some vehicle vendors provided by John Pryke in his book 'Building City Scenery for your Model Railroads':
Alloy Forms
Cast metal cars and trucks, '40s and '50s
Stoney Mountain Castings
Urethane cars and trucks, 1936 to 1951
Greg's Garage
Resin cars and trucks, '30s and '40s
Jordan Products
Styrene cars and trucks up to the '40s
Sheepscot Products
Hydrocal semi trailers and trucks, '40s and '50s
Walthers (formerly Magnuson)
Urethane vehicles, '40s to the '60s
Good luck!
Bruce J.

Hi Bob;
In addition to Bruce's list:
IMEX, some of thier "future releases" are already out. I bought a
870186
at show in Plano Texas last month.
IMEX
company website.
And they turn up ebay often.
Another manufacturer, no longer in this line of business is Ertl, which you can find on e-bay.
There is also some Matchbox stuff that fits what you are looking for, that I have seen on ebay.
This is the search I use on ebay for
>1/87 vehicles.

Nigel N&W in HO scale, 1950 - 1955 (..and some a bit newer too) Now in San Jose, California
