Thanks for this info. I was growing really concerned with the issue of fitting these decoders in all of my locomotives. I also have a couple SW-1500's, as well as some small steam locos. This 'Z' scale trick might just be the ticket. But, why didn't they just build all of their decoders this size in the first place? <br /> <br />Mike
