After all the back and forth about when they are going to be out, I would think Tony's phone will be ringing of the hook come Monday. I'm calling tomorrow....Antonio?????
Hello Trainnut,

I'm shocked and pleasantly surprised............however just one little hitch.......I was waiting for the Diesel version. [(-D][(-D]

I'm glad Soundtraxx is finally moving forward,. I communicated with Bruce from Litchfield back in the summer. He stated that modelers will not be dissappointed with the steam decoder version of the Tsunami..

Obvious question: So when is the diesel version going to be introduced? I'm assuming that it will have to go throught the BETA testing procedures once test samples become available. OR Has Soundtraxx already produced some Diesel Tsunami's and are awaiting testing?

[:p][:0][:p][?]
Antonio

Ithink we all were surprised since some of our reservations go back one to two years and some rumors were beginning to indicate it might not happen. In the past month, I had ordered and received several of the older Soundtraxx modules without the drive portion just to use if the New one was cancelled.

The Beta for the steam was several months ago the news was leaked out to us by some of the testers to keep us interested. I believe we will find out the Beta testing for the Diesel sound the same way, Hopefully.
The Soundtraxx F unit 567 engine sound for the Diesels is really excellent and two of the modules installed in a four unit set of Genesis F units is absolutely the best out there on the market today. The funny thing about this industry and most all technical advances is the new ones probably will obsolete everything we are using today.

If we use the latest Soundtraxx offerings and the units work like they are advertised, we might see the diesel sound modules in less than six months.

In my opinion, Soundtraxx has been the leader in the market for both fidelity and sound quality up to now and they would like to retain that advantage.
