Got some reading to do.....
Posted by howmus on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 10:14 AM
An old friend (actually a lady that I used to date way back when..) gave me a copy of the USRA, New York Central Railroad, Rules for the Government of the Operating Department dated October 20, 1918 that she had found at a garage sale! Whoa!!!! Needless to say she got a BIG hug from me. She said, "I take it you like it (huge grin)". Her youngest son was into MR when he was in middle school back then and we talked trains a lot. (He is now in college and is serving on a national committee of the Presbyterian church)

Anyway, I wanted to share my good fortune with all of you and let you know if I am not here at the forum, working on the layout, or doing recording, I will be doing some reading...... [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D]

Ray Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western R.R. (S.L.O.&W.) in HO

We'll get there sooner or later!

When you get back to read this, I hope the grin has shifted to your face from hers...and that you have a wistful, far-away gaze.
