HO 8 x 12 layout River Rat Junction RR

Virotex light - love the stuff Hope to do a second pour in the near future for a little more depth. Its Harbor water so I tried to keep it dark and deep!

Looks great! I'd like to see a little more detail on the next picture. Keep up the good work.

Yes, let's get a closer look.

Looks purdy from here though.

Looks great, but I want a close up to see if I want to fish off the pier, gotta see the fins break water. Very nice. Any details on what you did, how deep, what you did for the base?

Pretty cool scene, Don!! The picture appears a tad 'red' to me. I'm getting old, so it may be my eyes. A closer shot would be great!!

Yes, I don't know why the photo comes out red and not natural! Have to work on that!

The reddi***int on the picture is the result of using tungsten lighting (standard light bulbs) with either daylight film or a daylight setting on a digital camera. If you used flourescents, you'd get a green tint. A flash will typically give the right color balance for daylight, but then you've got a flash picture. You might try bouncing the flash off the ceiling to reduce the flash effect somewhat.

On the other hand, I like the picture the way it is. It's got a warm, old-fashioned look to it that's very appealing.

Darn nice modeling and harbor scene. I take it the tide is out and as far as the red tint goes,I thought the sun was about to set!!!. Good work, Ken
