I've swapped the wheel sets in Walthers regular series R-T-R and kits using P2K with no problem. The Gold series comes with metal wheels and I don't buy the Trainline so it depends on what you are asking for.

Their latest flyer has replacement trucks with metal wheelsets, for about the same price as per car and replacement wheelsets.

Since Walthers now owns LifeLike, maybe they are Proto 2000 trucks and wheelsets in disguise. I noticed that a lot of the products in that sale flyer are labeled as Walthers Proto 2000 or Walthers LifeLike.

If they are the older Walthers branded products, get Proto 2000 instead. I have no experience with the Walthers trucks and wheelsets other than replacing them with Proto 2000, Atlas, Kadee, or LBF to improve performance.
