There was a recent suggestion to say thanks for assistance rendered via this forum.
I want to do just that, but don't know/remember the person that assisted me, I guess after a while the item leaves the page.
Being in Australia means it takes a while to get action for the most part. In my case I needed drivers for a Rivarossi Big Boy that had suffered a meltdown.
One of the forum participants responded to my request and put me onto Dave at Con-Cor, viola, problem solved, it meant phoning and overcoming the extreme time differences, but Dave was very ammicable and assistive and pulled me out of trouble on not just the Big Boy, but also a Con-Cor DL109 that is ancient and needed parts.
So, I am expressing my deepest thanks first and especially to the fellow who assisted me in the first instance, thanks to Dave for his superb help and thanks to this forum for existing and helping solve a problem that has taken nearly twelve months to finally resolve.
The Big Boy is alive and well at last!
NOW! how do I go about getting Life-Like N scale GP-18 and SD-9 wheelsets and/or trucks.

Actually it was the customer service dept at Walthers in Milwaukee that tipped me off to Con-Cor and I called them in Tucson AZ got the contact name.
It isn't very often I get to go International.
According to LL home page they only accept US orders.
I'm not into N but I can ask around. Perhaps Paul has a better idea.

Thanks Charles, I thought you were the bird, but lost my records, the Big Boy is up and running and will be back on the exhibition circuit once again thanks to you.
Consider yourself an International hero.
