Greetings and Salutations fellow modellers.
I just returned form a very relaxing vacation in the land of my birth, St.John's, Newfoundland (that's on the most eastern tip of north america for those of you who may not know). While I was there I had a chance to visit the Newfoundland Railway Museum. I have to say it's a first class facility and loaded with historical pictures from the history of the Railway in Newfoundland which operated from 1881 to 1988. The museum features points of interest about the railway and the coastal boats that it both serviced and work with. It has several passenger cars from the era which are actually connected to the building so that you can see inside. They are decked out with all the trimmings you'd find back in the day.
If you ever have a chance, and you're in that neck of the woods. I highly recommend it.
