Tom !! fantabulous, your shots bring a whole new meaning to the expression "eyecandy". I wish I had as many great photo locations on my layout, gotta wait till the next one. [sigh]

Timothy : Kilz is a basic primer available at HD, Lowes or other hardware outlets, available in oil or latex and now spraycans. I usually paint all my rocks with it prior to colouraton, esp the tile ones otherwise the colour just disapears.

Paugust : excellent, unique shot, I may need to 'borrow' that idea [;)]

Have fun & be safe

Here's my contribution for this week. I finally have two mainlines on my module. Now I just have to lay the rest of the track in my engine facility:

And here's a shot of two WSOR trains passing on the "Plywood Central"

Art, that's quite a crew. Nice to see you're training them well.

BTW, the scenery is looking great!

Midnite--that's one very cool grain elevator. And do I spy a Microscale tall viaduct in the background there? Yummy!!

All those ceiling tile shots are awesome. Just like in the book. However when I tried my hand at it I ended up throwing in all in the dumpster and went with Foam in a can. Great job folks. Almost have all of my track layed. I really need to clean up my train room and take some pics to post. Finished my passenger siding today. Start on my west yard tomorrow and when thats done I can finally start on the scenery..

Spent the entire weekend working on my basement layout without a picture to show. Friday, I redesigned the space for the layout in 3rd Planit. Saturday I cleared out my garage to move my weight equipment into storage--the first stage in my basement reclaimation project. Today I downloaded over 700 logging pictures from the University of Washington. I learned a lot about logging and it has affected my layout design.

Ah heck, a reject from my other post. A Climax taken in 1920.

Wow Chip 700 !!! thats some serious research material, I'll know where to come when I need a pic of a logging operation in the future.

Well as the weekend fades away all too quickly into another Monday morning the crews head home for a well earned rest.

Have a great week & be safe.

Hey grande man,

I just finished assembling the exact same passenger station. It's a nice looking kit too. I hope to get some pics posted soon.

Look forward to seeing it! Those Atlas kits are inexpensive, but to me they're timeless. I remember them from when I was a kid.

Here is a Walthers background building (Armstrong Electric, I think...) that I detailed and weathered for my modules for the club Layout. It's about 75% of the way there, and I'll come back to it at a later time and see if I want to add more details, or change anything.

Thanks, the backdrop adds alot. I just re-took the pic to try and get more depth, it worked, kinda, I got focus all the way through but lost a little at the front, so I left the back trees in this time.

Heres one for you Tom, taken from your sigpic, hope you don't mind.

Take care,
Karl.

Well, I guess the best I can do is tell everyone that I have updated my website with two new pictures of electric locomotives.
