"Brilliant" decoders

Are there any beta testers or others who have knowledge about the
new MRC "Brilliant" decoders and would comment on them?

I think it is actually "Brilliance". I was able to listen to one at the National train show. Rather than have them in locomotives, they had them hooked to large powered speakers like the ones used in the Sound Station product. To be fair, the ambient noise at the NTS was loud, so I'm sure that they did this to let atendees hear it. But IMO this was a mistake as the sound came over really distorted. It is multichannel. for sure in that the chuff or rumble does not stop when the bell is rung etc. They are better than the old sound decoder, but are still generic and frankly overpriced compared to the new Digitrax offering.
