The few people I've seen who paint brass are usually very busy. The better ones are in high demand, and they take a long time to do their work properly. I saw one fellow's efforts, on a CPR steam engine in their fancy black - gray - and maroon scheme, it looked great. But the painter was not satisfied and was going to strip off the paint and do it over again. So you can see why it can take a long time. This guy (who also operated a hobby shop out of his home) had modelers waiting two years or more to get their engines painted. It was a part time thing for him. <br /> <br />Good luck getting yours painted in a hurry! <br /> <br />Bob Boudreau
