Hi Weez and Ben! <br />Glad to have you guys aboard and [#welcome] <br />As with several others, I also started in the hobby when I was about your age. I also had two older brothers and my Dad that were interested and we all built a layout together. I've grown up, gotten married and now have kids about your age, and we are now at the point of beginning to build a layout together for all of us to enjoy. I encourage you both to try to get your parents to appreciate and hopefully share your interest in this hobby. It is a great hobby for the whole family, since there is something for everyone. As the others have said, feel free to come to the forum to ask your questions and just to say "Hi" to your fellow model railroaders. <br /> <br />Again [#welcome]
