Progress - Club!

The local club(Grand Meadow) has beeen working on their new layout, and the staging area in the room(27 by 27) is just about complete. There are 16 staging tracks that vary in length from about 18' up to 35' long. Work on the 5 loop 'helix' is about 2 turns up right now. We are dropping the power feeders for the DCC and will tie them to 4 Digitrax PM42's, then to a DCS200 and DB200 booster. I am hoping that we are running on the lower(staging level) by the end of July. This will allow the guys to get the 'gotta run something' out of their systems for the rest of the summer. This fall we will complete the helix and get started with the 'on stage' level of the layout. The club is about 6 months old, has 10 members and could use some more members. Good to hear your club is getting somewhere. I wish you many years of model railroading without the politicing that most clubs have. [:D][tup]
