I decided i didn't like my original plan so i ripped out the track at an industrial area and re laid it for better, more interesting switching fun, now there is only one track into the area with access to the oposite side of the main line via a crossover, i also put a track gang to work cleaning up the area
This is the old trackwork

This is the new layout

and from the opposite end

Steve, I'm presently contemplating about splicing another 2 feet into the middle of one of my sections. This will set me back if I proceed. I still haven't determined if there is much benifit to my madness.

BTW: I really like the change as it some how looks more protypical.
