looks a lot like John Allen's "Time saver" minus the roundhouse...that's ok though...it's a good design and lots of fun to switch on...chuck

Ken,

That's a nifty switching layout. Not too sure about those curtains though...[:O] [:)]

Hey Guys thanks very much it means alot coming from the pros in this game!!

I found a track plan on the net somewhere and flipped it over to suit my corner,
then I found there was room for a turntable and hopefully a roundhouse so it's the engine service and some industries switching layout.

The wee bit behind the computer needs to be a bit longer, I'll work on the Mrs and see what I come up with[:D][B)][B)][B)][:X][:X][:X]

I think you have done well with very limted space, and oddly shaped, at that. I agree that the end on the upper right (behind your computer?) will be your Achilles Heel, if you know what I mean.

I was wondering how you'd factor in a a loop if you wanted one. Don't see how. Then, I wondered if a "Y" might make re-orienting the engines and trains possible, but the only place that could possibly happen is where you have a 'y' already, at centre-right.

How do YOU feel about it?

I like it had alot of fun so far, once I've got the turntable and roundhouse in should be looking good.
