The first camera car clips of Pine Ridge.

Here are some preliminary movie clips of my layout.

Yes I know they are dark, the quality is low to reduce file size and they are not very long, but, its my first use of the camera car. I will increase the lighting, show more areas and for those of you with highspeed internet I'll put some longer clips on for you. But for now here is a little taster.

Hopefully there wont be a codec issue, they play for me.

Ok there seems to be a Codec issue as per cwclarks post, I'll go figure it out, darn it and repost, [banghead]

Have fun & be safe
Karl.

Wow, I LOVE that layout, Karl. You can safely rank yourself as a master, if I have any say in it. Rock faces are superb...top drawer.

Those camera cars are great, aren't they? They add a whole new dimension to our roads.

Regards,
Crandell

They worked oK for me. Nice tour of a coal mine! [:D]

I recall using one of the ancient Lionel Railscopes, the effect was heightened when you met a train coming at you on the other track, a real neat effect!

I'll have to try at work. My dialup at home isn't cutting it.

It worked for me.

Interesting. The last camera car ride I had was at the Lincoln Museum at the Gettysburg Battlefield. This one took me back.

Very nice! Now you need one through the yard and passing another train.

Very nice. I like the use of trees around the layout edges. The camera doesn't have to look at the big-people walls that way.

Very cool! I'm gonna have to put one of those camera cars on my Christmas list this year [:)]

Excellent job with the scenery, by the way!

Nice video, ukguy!! Just a tad dark on my side, but my DSL hookup handled the downloads fine. Perhaps a temp light bar or something to lighten up the landscape a bit would make the final video even better.
Just another item for me to put on the "wish list". It certainly does provide an enhancement to a modelers web site or photo site to be able to offer video. Hopefully the prices on this equipment will come down some more.....
