collection blues......

Hey guys, what are the best books/mags/catalogs for collecting? I've talked with several companies trying to get a complete list of all the products they've ever made....but no luck. I guess their interest is money only. I'm particularly interested in life-like trains/cars, and various other makers of cars.....

Thanks!

There is a book available titled "Standard Guide to Athearn Model Trains" which might be of use - covers the Athearn range pretty thoroughly. Details are as follows:

Author: Tim Blaisdell & Ed Urmston Sr.

Publisher: Krause Publications

ISBN No: 0 87341 631 7

(details courtesy of www.mremag.demon.co.uk )

Hope this is of help!
