Sergent Engineering Die Cast HO Coupler
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, May 29, 2005 7:53 PM
I noticed an ad showing a new HO coupler that used a magetic wand above it to uncouple. WEB page http://sergentengineering.com/
My question is, have you seen these and do they work. They look fairly close to scale, but are not compatible with Kadees, which I use.

I might use these on models for pictures, since they more real compared to most other couplers.

Please let me know if you have seen or used these.

They are scale. They are used by P:87 people. Kadee's and the clones look like Lionel tinplate compared to them.
Nigel N&W in HO scale, 1950 - 1955 (..and some a bit newer too) Now in San Jose, California

I have heard that they will couple to Kadee #58s but not necessarily #5s.

I use them in S scale, also popular with the Proto:64 folks.
SP the way it was in S scale
