Well lets try this As long as were all willing to jump on the prices they are offering then the prices will never lower. The manufacturers have all of us over a barrel and they know it. They will continue to pu***he prices up cause they know you have a credit card with 30 % apr waiting to snap up that engine. Not me forget that I will wait and if I get it I get it if I dont I dont. Eventually everyone dies and your widow will sell all of your train crap for a few bucks and I will swing in from the shadows and snap it up for barely a 1/4 of what you paid for it. I imagine the same thing will happen when I die its part of model rail roading. I think a lot of purchases are just impulse buys anyway and the item ends up on ebay for a few bucks. I am slowly building my layout and slowly buying stuff here and there I got time I can wait. I would rather get it used and fix it myself no need in getting it new before everyone else. I am happy with what I have sure I would like lots of stuff but I dont need it to get through the day. I just relax and play with my trains.
