Has anybody kitbashed a BL20-2 together other than using the plans from the March '97 article by Eric Bergstrom? I'd like to avoid having to slice up 3 engine shells just to get one unit. (yeah, I'm cheap) I was thinking of cutting the cab and hoods off of a Walthers GP9 and fitting a modified GP38-2 cab and hood. I thought about trying to update the GP9's details, but I'm afraid that I'd weaken the shell with all the cutting I'd have to do. Any insights are gladly welcome.
Thanks!

I haven't tried to kitbash one but would love to see yours when you get it finished. It's a really cool prototype!
