Cool poll.

I hope the guys gave you a "Welcome Aboard" when you joined, recently. I model Seaboard Coast Line, one of CSX's ancestors. However, I picked Southern in your poll since I'm also a fan of that road. The quality that has made me appreciate the Southern was that even after the railroads were able to "dump" their passenger trains in 1971 to Amtrak, the Southern continued to operate their "Hot Shot" passenger train, the Southern Crescent, until 1979.

As with several others, my favourites aren't listed. I model Canadian Pacific in HO scale and the Sandy River and Rangley Lakes in 1:35 th scale.

Mine weren't up there either, NYC, PRR or NH, so I choose D&H since they serviced the same area and I have to say that I really liked their paint schemes and logos. I almost bought a D&H PA1 not long ago just for its looks.

I voted Santa Fe All The Way !!! Mainly because they have a branch line that runs past my house( know under BNSF ) and also because their red&silver engines just look cool!

I voted for Santa Fe which seems to be the most popular with the voters. I personally like their colors and model it in four different eras including steam, late 1940s streamliner, mid 1970s diesel and modern diesel.

Which is amazing considering that both of the Canadian Class 1's travel deep into the USofA.
Oh well, I voted D&H as it's OWNED by Canadian Pacific Railway.
