New soundless sound system...

No joke, it was in todays news. The same guy that invented the micro recording chip just announced a new sound system that he came up with where a laser like device is aimed at your head and only you can hear the sound. In other words it turns your head into a speaker...
I wonder if they'll apply it to train sound systems ?.
I could drive someone that already has head problems even more nuts with something like that because they would literally be the only one in the room to hear "the voices" in their head...

A bit OT but I LMAO. [:D]

I've seen it done with long wavelength microwaves (that's an oxymoron isn't it) They could make speciallized surfaces vibrate without the eletronic wiring, thereby producing music by turning the surface into a soundboard. It was used in hot tub demo of all things!

I was hoping for a device that I could aim at my Proto 2K FA1 and would make it run silently.
