Well, i havn't talked to ya'll in forever....just wanted to let you know I'm still alive....for the present, at least. I have yet to build my layout...school takes alot of my time...but with hope, I can get somthing started this summer...I have found that I like more railroads than I thought I did....I have become a fan of the Santa Fee, Boston and Maine, the MoPac, and some interurbans. But the good old Rock island remains my favorite. Well, just wantef to say Hi!

Hello Alex!
Great to see that you're still kicking!
Understandable how you can be a fan of those other railroads. Funny thing is that even though the primary railroad I'm modeling is Seaboard Coast Line, and my secondaries are New Haven and Penn Central, I happen to own an Atlas Rock Island GP7. It's in that really fancy red and black paint scheme of the early 1950s. It's one of my best running locos. I'm going to limit weathering to the trucks and underframe components.
Looking forward to your future posts!
Take care, Amigo and stay focused! [4:-)][tup]

Alex [:)]
Good to hear from you.
My computer was down for a long time but now is up and running (thanks to Adrian) so I better go catch it. [;)]
I will drop you an email later.
Take care.
Sincerely yours,
Jim
