Hobby Shops in Maine and Maritime Canada
Posted by tpd0418 on Friday, April 8, 2005 12:40 PM
Hello everyone,

My family is taking an extended trip this summer to Maine and the Canadian Maritime provinces. Does anyone know of good model railroad shops in these areas that I should not miss?

Thanks.

Don't know of any MRR shops, but there's a fantastic model shipbuilder's shop, BlueJacket ShipCrafters http://www.bluejacketinc.com/index.htm in Searsport, Maine. Its worth your time to visit, there's a lot of stuff they use that we can use as well.

Here's the links page from the website of the Maritime Federation of Model Railroaders which I maintain: http://www.geocities.com/mfmrr/Links.html

You'll find area hobby shops and their websites listed.

Have a great trip!
