I asked the guy at Standard Hobby why the price slashing ,and he said it was to reduce inventories at the local hobby shops. BLI has a bunch of new product comming out soon and they want the local shops to be low on inventory ,and order in large quantities. This was according to the salesman at Standard. When I asked about availability of some loco's, most of the numbers I gave him had quantities of 20 to 25 units in stock. Thats alot of money sitting there in store rooms.
