I need a book on diesels!!

I know I have probably asked this before.. what is a good book to get alot of info on diesel engines. Make?, How many? this & that?

Check the Kalmbach online store/library. They should have a bunch:

I didn't realize that one was still in print! My copy is dated 1973. I did just a cursory look at the Trains online site. I have it and the later update, which have both been very helpful to me.
