don't get me started on B&O history... <br />Not the first, but the first that hauled both Freight and passenger. <br /> <br />As fro the dome....there is a reason B&O fanatics are called Domers, is that it was the logo of the railroad for many many years. but not all the time. The B&O existed before the Capitol dome was constructed, so for many years, it was just the text "Balto & Ohio" on cars.
