Does anyone know if I bought a powered athearn F7
and put a Model Power Products CF7 angle cab on it would it fit or would I have to do a lot of work to it?

Rail Power Products has 2 CF7 shells for the Athearn F7 chassis, round top and angled cab. The F7 frame fits the shell, but it needs to be thinned out about a 10th inch(buy shell, docs say how) or you can buy a frame from RPP to replace athearn one. I am assuming you want to build a CF7.
