Dams and Levys

I am looking for information on modeling small dams and levys. Also is there an online index for topics in Model Railroader?

Levy is a tax.

Levee is a earth embankment that holds back water.

Just in case you do a search, so you'll find the right stuff.

Yes the Trains.com home page has an index for virtually all Railroad magazines.

Levy is also the [8] that lives next door to me and always wants to barrow my lawn mower, and hedge clippers, I don't know why the hedge clippers, he doesn't even have a hedge but the last time I got them back they were full of dog hair, go figure.[sigh][:D]

In the 70th anniversery issue of MR, there is a huge article about modeling southern CA's flood control levees. It's worth looking into...and also a great issue!

I also have neighbors named levy...creepy neighbors!
