RIVAROSSI PARTS-- UP Challenger boiler cover
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 12:27 PM
Hello to all,
I unfortunately do not live the meca of HO trains (Idaho), and have been trying a number of sources to replace the boiler cover on my challenger that was damaged in "the largest model train wreck in Northern Idaho". I have tried Golf Manor Hobbies and some other sources including fellow hobbiests on ebay, so if any of you can steer me in the direction where I may purchase a replacement I would be grateful and then I would need no further parts to complete the repair to this great oldie but goodie.(1995 issue)
Thankyou for your help, Jon

Although I live in the Los Angles county of CA, I got my rivrossi 4-8-8-4 big boy at
a train show in the farmland of kern county CA. If you can, find the listings of train
shows in your area, because unlike the internet or a local hobby store, train shows
usually carry parts for trains as old as 80 yrs old, & usually carry full locomotives
at bargain prices.
