YTRAIN STATION CARS:Are they anywhere near as good performance wise as to the Walthers Superliner Cars?

No, but they're the only thing available. The Western AMTRAK trains (Superliners) put a Santa Fe Hi-Level car on as a Domitorty car as part of their Superliner consist.

According to some. AMTRAK employees, the Budd built Hi-Level's ride better than the much newer Superliner's.
