This narrow gauge engine runs on 1,000mm track, has a tractive force of 40,240 lbs. and a top speed of 56mph. Rhaetian Railways operate 23 of these handsome engines, built between 1973 and 1984 by SLM Winterthur in Switzerland. They handle both passenger and freight traffic on all lines of the Rhaetian Railway network, except the Bernina Line, which is DC powered.</p>
