Changing N scale Copular help

I really need help changing my Atlas Gp-40's copulars.I need to change them to Rapidos to match my other trains.Can someone please Help me I cant figure out where the metal piece goes please help me!

In the long run its better to convert all your Rapido equipmet to MTL compatible.

In the interim create a few tranition cars. Convert one a car to MTL then the GP40 can pull a Rapido equiped train.

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

I agree. Besides, I think it would be easier to swap in an MTL truck/coupler for a transition car rather than retro-fit the GP40 with Rapidos.

If it's a newer Atlas loco there may be Rapidos somewhere in the box. All of my Atlas equipment came with extra Rapidos...

I kinda new to this but figured it out and it came with them and was my only thing without rapidos

Also i'll probably change them when I start my Maryland & Delaware Layout inN scale in the future
