Weekend Photo Fun March 15-17
Posted by HO-Velo on Friday, March 15, 2024 11:00 AM

Hoping to see lots-o Model Railroading photos over this 'bit-o-the-green' weekend.

Rapido's new run of buses offers an opportunity to add to my collection while 'Welcoming me back' to my 'Happy Days' growing up in the east bay and riding AC Transit 'fishbowls' to and from school.

Have a good weekend.  Regards, Peter

Welcome to the Bus weekend?

This is the Freedom Rider's Greyhound:

Unfortunately Rapido hasn't gotten around to a Cleveland Transit System Fishbowl:

When they do I'll be in line for one Wink

Thanks for starting us off, Peter — Good to see you Bear!

On to more great (and FUN) stuff!

Cheers, Ed

Thanks for the start up, Peter, and nice pix everyone.

In keeping with a theme, my only bus model ever, just opened it and put the details on it for this occasion (I always wondered what I was waiting for):

Let's see more busses, progress...new stuff...anything!

Good morning from Northeast Ohio!

Thanks everyone for starting us out this weekend, been very busy the last few weeks with very little modeling done but did finish up some stuff this last week.

First up an IMRC PS1 40' Boxcar kit, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and Black Paints and lettered with K4 Decals. Car was in general service on the ACY.

Next an easy prepainted kit from Scaletrains of a NKP 53' Gondola.

A little bit of green for St Patty's Day, a fleet of PS4785 Covered Hoppers hauled by an SD40-SD45 Combination on the Strongsville club layout.

Have a great weekend!

Thanks to all the contributors and viewers.  Really enjoyed seeing all those 'Hounds', bus station and intermodal yard, not to mention Rick's latest rolling stock.

Hoping everyone enjoys the remainder of St. Patrick's Day.  Now for some of that corned-beef that's been simmering in the crock-pot all day.   Regards, Peter

HO-Velo
Really enjoyed seeing all those 'Hounds',

Wait, wait... there's a late arrival. A Scenicruiser to boot —

My first Greyhound ride was on a Scenicruiser from detroit to Cleveland back in '63. Had to sit in the 'dome' seat of course.
