Good Morning!

The day started uite nice - bright and sunny. Our regular morning visitors showed up, but no Easter bunny. Now it is overcast and we can expect it to ra*n any minute.

It´s a holiday here, so all shops are closed - family time, providing one has a family to speak of.
Ulrich - how is Petra doing ? Did you get to see your son ?
Petra is doing just fine - each day is a step forward. I can hardly wait to get some decent food again. This dietary stuff is really an insult to my taste buds.

My son called on Friday, just to tell how busy he was, is and will be. We have not seen him since before Christmas last year. He lives "only" about 100 miles away from us, but it could well be somewhere behind the moon, looking at how many times we see him. His GF is suffering from multiple allergies, which includes us, so we can´t just go there and see them. I sure wish he would dump her and find a nice and healthy girl to marry and have children with. Of course, it is not up to me to decide, so we have to grin and bear the situation. I am not happy about it and I know for sure that the day will come he´ll be regretting having wasted his "best years". He´ll be turning 30 coming Sunday and we won´t see him then, either.

If you sense a little sadness in my words, you are right.

No idea how I will spend the day. There is a short HD list waiting to be worked down, but that´s something I don´t look forward to!

Have a good day!
